These distinctive Buddha statues are made of cast bronze and depict Buddha in one of three mudras (meditative hand positions): the Dhyana mudra (hands cupped around a sacred bowl, represents inner peace and healing); the Bhumispasra Mudra (hand touching the earth, represents steadfastness and resistance against temptation); and the Varada Mudra (hand open, indicates giving and offering). Each statue measures 11 inches high and weighs about 6 pounds. Handmade: some minor dents, scratches and markings may be evident as an intentional design feature. Slight variation in color or finish is natural and reflects the artistic characteristic of each individual statue.
