Additional Information

In Chinese Buddhism, Kuan Yin is usually depicted in a white flowing robe and usually wears royal necklaces. In her hand is a water jar containing pure water. The detailing in her crown depicts the image of Amitabha Buddha, Kuan Yin's spiritual teacher before she became a Bodhisattva. This statue depicts Kuan Yin on the palm of a hand.
