Buddha head statue is hand carved out of wood and measures 8.5 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide. The Buddha is often depicted with long ears. There is a symbolic significance to the Buddha s elongated earlobes. In Eastern cultures, large ears are associated with wisdom and revered by others (think Lord Ganesha and in more modern times, Mahatma Gandhi).
