This black and mahogany resin sculpture depicts the hand of Buddha in Vitarka Mudra. The touching of the forefinger and thumb represents a closed circle, symbolic of the wheel of law and intellectual discussion. The circle formed by the fingers  signifies perfection, with no beginning or end, like the law of Dharma itself.

Each sculpture weighs about 5.5 pounds and measures 6 x 13.5 x 4.5 inches. Appropriate for indoor use.

Handcrafted in Vietnam. Some minor dents, scratches and markings may be evident as an intentional design feature. Slight variation in color or finish is natural and reflects the artistic characteristic of each individual statue.
