Throughout history travelers have collaborated in building cairns to mark a path and collectively navigate new territory.  Today, piles of stone are often used as markers on hiking trails that guide trekkers in the right direction. Cairns symbolize direction, safety and hope for travelers on life’s paths. This cairn is made of stacked natural beach and river stones that are hand selected from Java. The stones are supported with a sturdy metal rod that goes through the center of the cairn.
