This distinctive meditation mala (rosary) is made from speckled rattan seeds and is indispensible to meditative practice. Each bead is used to count the repetition of a prayer or mantra. The number 108 bears spiritual significance across several cultures. Beads measure 8-9 mm approx. Mala measures about 36 inches long.
