Long strand of polished beads that drops to a cloisonné elephant, its blanket and saddle worked in turquoise, red, green and white enamel inside gold-tone wire. A single banded red agate bead sits above the pendant like a sunset over the trunk. The elephant is an old sign of luck and steadiness. Wear it long over a dark sweater or a white shirt.

Cloisonné is enamel poured between thin walls of wire and fired, a technique mastered in Beijing's Ming workshops. Every color on this elephant sits in its own small cell.
