Meaning & Intention

The word chakra comes from Sanskrit for wheel or vortex, describing the seven energy centers said to run along the spine from root to crown.

Each cone in the set corresponds to one center: Root for health and stability, Sacral for creation and sacred life, Solar Plexus for energy and strength, Heart for compassion and forgiveness, Throat for creativity and resonance, Third Eye for perception and imagination, and Crown for pure being and understanding.

Copper has long been valued in Ayurvedic and yogic traditions as a conductor, believed to circulate energy rather than absorb it. The brass medallions pressed into the base echo the same seven centers named in the cones.
