Design: Eight small brass prayer wheels, each topped with a hand-carved medallion of one of the Eight Auspicious Symbols above a spinning mantra-inscribed cylinder banded in copper tone, on a flat brass foot
Size: Each wheel 4 ¼" high x 1 ¼" deep; wheelbase approximately 1" x 1 ¼"; each weighs approximately 2 ounces
Material: Brass, inlaid with red and blue decorative beads, with copper-tone banding
Included: Set of eight prayer wheels, each with a hanging loop for wall display and a flat stand for tabletop or altar use
Care: Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep away from moisture to preserve the brass finish
Note: Handmade in Nepal, so small variations in finish and detail are part of each piece. The cylinder's removable metal cap may loosen in transit and can be twisted back into place

Meaning & Intention

In Tibetan Buddhist practice, a prayer wheel is not decorative alone. The mantra coiled inside its cylinder is said to radiate outward with every turn, the way ripples spread from a stone dropped in still water.

This set gathers that tradition into miniature form. Each wheel bears one of the Ashtamangala, the Eight Auspicious Symbols that have accompanied Buddhist teaching for centuries.

Each emblem holds its own note: the Golden Fish for freedom, the Parasol for protection, the Treasure Vase for spiritual wealth, the Lotus for purity, the Conch Shell for the sound of truth, the Endless Knot for interconnection, the Dharma Wheel for the path of awakening, and the Victory Banner for triumph over what clouds the mind.

Displayed together, the eight form a small constellation of intention — a practice built of many small turns rather than one grand gesture.
